Shangri-La: How do you take care of your skin in winter?
Bad weather, cold, rain, lashing wind… all things that don’t make your skin happy. Not to mention the constant change from warm, dry heating air to cold, wet outside air.
What’s the best way to do that?
Just like us, your skin longs for warmth and comfort. An inadequate or unprotected skin will arm itself against the cold by making itself thicker. Only that ‘jacket’ consists of dead skin cells, making your largest organ look dull and colorless. Colorless also yes, until you come back into the heat; all the blood vessels that have started to squeeze out of fear open themselves full again. What do you get then? A reddened head with couperose lurking, with, indeed, still a dull appearance. But you can do something about that.
Cleaning, peeling, nourishing and protecting… Then an extra care layer before your cream, Amanprana’s Shangri-La is extremely suitable for this. I wrote about it before. Remains a fantastic extra nourishment for when your skin needs a little extra comfort.
