Great for making pesto!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2><strong>Spring is here&#8230;<\/strong>&nbsp; Can&#8217;t wait to bring in spring and enjoy the first spring jitters?<\/h2>\n<p>In our garden, spring means that the first wild garlic leaves are starting to squeak. They smell like garlic and are delicious to use in a pesto, omelette or puree.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that wild garlic also grows in the wild? In shady spots in the forest. Pay attention, because the leaves look very much like bluebells, and these are super poisonous. If the leaves smell like garlic, you&#8217;re good! You immediately recognize the garlic-like aroma.<\/p>\n<p>And no, it is not the badgers that like to eat wild garlic\u2026 The Latin name Allium usinum refers to bears\u2026 In other languages this is clearer: B\u00e4rlauch, Ail des ours or Bear&#8217;s garlic. According to Wikipedia, the species name is <em>ursinum<\/em> (= of the bears, <em>ursus<\/em> = bear)&nbsp; originated from the old superstition that bears first feasted on this plant after their hibernation. This is also the reason that the plant is occasionally called <em>bear&#8217;s garlic<\/em> (in German <em>B\u00e4rlauch<\/em> and in French <em>ail des ours<\/em> ). I have used a number of delicious Amanprana products in it. You get Omega 3 from Okinawa Balance delight hemp oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>150g Fresh wild garlic<\/li><li>50g Flat parsley<\/li><li>50g Sunflower seeds<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amanvida.eu\/en\/olive-oil-hermanos-catalan-extra-virgin-organic-500ml-amans-olijfhc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">150 ml extra virgin olive oil (Amanprana Hermanos Catalan)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amanvida.eu\/en\/amanprana-balance-delight-organic-vegetable-oil-aman-bd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2 tablespoons of Omega-3 Oil (Amanprana balance delight (hemp oil) Okinawa Omega oil<\/a> )<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amanvida.eu\/en\/khoisan-fleur-de-sel-organic-aman-khoisan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1 teaspoon fleur de sel (Khoisan fleur de sel)<\/a><\/li><li>\u00bd teaspoon black pepper<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amanvida.eu\/en\/amanprana-orac-botanico-mix-spicy-organic-aman-km-oracs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1-2 teaspoons herbs (Amanprana ORAC Botanico mix, spicy)<\/a><\/li><li>3 cloves of garlic<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rinse the wild garlic, parsley and garlic cloves and chop coarsely. Put these herbs together with the sunflower seeds, omega-3 oil and spices in a blender. The power of the blender should be gradually increased. Gently mix all ingredients to the desired consistency to create the ideal wild garlic pesto.
